On 2nd November 2020 Tamar Mission Nepal’s volunteers were able to rescue Sanju Chaudhari (Name Changed) from Ratna Park, Kathmandu. She was an active sex worker. She used to stand on the roadside to hire her customers. She is now just in her 20s. After her marriage with Binod Paswan (Name Changed), she came to Kathmandu. It’s just 9 months since she has been here in Kathmandu. Now she has just a 2-month-Old baby boy. Sanju, her son, and her husband are living in Teku Kathmandu beside Bagmati River. They are staying in one room which includes kitchen and bed everything in a single room taken in rent. Every month they have to pay Rs.3500/-. They lacked winter clothes. She told us that her husband lost his job during the lockdown in Nepal and just for survival she had to be a sex worker. Our team met her and her family and sponsored her to learn some other work and provided basic needs and gave gospel and counseling. Now she is not going for sex work and but still, we are providing basic needs for her family
