Praise the Lord this is me Daniyal Waiba founder of Tamar Mission Nepal (TMN). From 17th October 2020, TMN is actively working to rescue and

settle the lives of vulnerable sisters and sex workers in Kathmandu, Nepal. I’m delighted to share the background of TMN that how God lead me to start this mission. The seed of this vision was put in my in 2016 when I was a student in India Bible College and Seminary located in Kerala, India. I was doing my Bachelor of Theology and our course helped me to understand that Christian ministry is not just preaching and teaching but more than that God wants to use us to rescue His people those who are in physical as well as in physical bondages.

I got more attention to work for them when I visited Mumbai in 2018 to work with Vision Rescue under Pastor Biju Thambi, there in Mumbai I saw struggles of my Nepali sisters who were sold in brothels of Mumbai. I cried before God after seeing my sister’s struggle there in Mumbai. I got a clear Vision to start TMN when I came back to Nepal after my theological studies. In September 2020 as I was walking through the streets of Kathmandu I saw my Nepali sisters standing beside the road and asking people to go with them and I could understand that they are sex workers. I made research and studied the situation of Nepal concerning prostitution. I knew there are unofficial brothels in many places and Lakhs of active sex workers present in Kathmandu. That made to pray and ask God to do something for them. Then, after prayer, I got confirmation that now this is the right time for me now to work for the rescue and resettlement of the lives of Nepali sex workers. Then, I sought for right people with whom I can share my vision and start TMN. I found my team and we started to work with little funds that friends provided for me. Now, still, we are working and trying our best to rescue and resettle their lives. God willing we will be able to work more as God leads us towards His will and His Time.
