Volunteer friends of Tamar Mission Nepal have succeeded in rescuing a sex worker. Saginta Chaudhary, 24, is from Siraha, but she came to Kathmandu nine months ago after marrying a Paswan from Biratnagar. She currently lives with her one-month-old son and husband in Teku, Mainbari, Kathmandu. She says that even though her husband does not work regularly and has to feed her one-month-old son, she has to come to her own business. When I went to his house, I could see that he was in a really miserable condition. There was only one small room for sitting, eating and sleeping. There were no good facilities for water, electricity and sanitation. There was no good arrangement for a 1-month-old son. She says that she got involved in sex work because of grief. She says she will quit her job if she gets another job. Please pray for sister Sangita Chaudhary, her husband and one month old son. Tamar Mission Nepal will train Sangita Chaudhary in SIP Mulak and make her self-reliant.
